Celebrate the Magic of the Season at the 34th Annual Festival of Trees

The 2025 holiday season marks the 34th year of celebration, generosity, and community spirit through Festival of Trees—one of Gillette’s most beloved and largest fundraising traditions. This heartwarming event would not be possible without the incredible support of a volunteer-led team of hundreds who give their time, talent, and creativity, along with a generous community that shows up year after year to give back.

Festival of Trees began in 1992 when a small group of volunteers came together to raise funds for the Lifeline Emergency Response System. That first year, 16 beautifully decorated trees and wreaths were auctioned, raising $9,172—enough to provide Lifeline service for 20 local subscribers.

In 2004, the Festival became part of the Northeast Wyoming Community Health Foundation, continuing its support of Lifeline and expanding its impact. Today, Festival of Trees features more than 60 stunning trees and wreaths, kicking off with a festive Senior Day luncheon where seniors enjoy the magic of the season and vote for their favorite designs. Family Day brings cheer for all ages with holiday entertainment, a gift shop, and fun-filled activities, all culminating in our live and silent auctions.

Together, we've raised more than $4 million to enhance local healthcare, and thanks to your incredible support, we’ve surpassed our fundraising goal for the last three years in a row.
